So I went to the river today and it was gorgeous. Got burnt tanning though. You can’t see it but just past the left of the picture is about 40 vcu students having a fucking party on a huge ass rock.

there’s a satisfying contrast in how gently the water laps at my feet as i stand at the edge and how swiftly i would certainly get swept away by the strong deepness were i out in the middle of this river.
The dog days of summer are over. This was the last day warm enough to go for a swim.

If it’s time to renew your license plates, go to DMV to get your James River Park plates! DMV said that as of September 30, 720 plates have been ordered (with 566 registered to be on the road). The 720 number is key because after 1,000 plates, each new plate ordered or renewed provides money to help preserve, maintain and protect the James River Park — a nice revenue stream for the non-profit organization.
This is my license plate: PONYPR. Many meanings from that personalized plate….
